Memphis artist George Hunt has gained a national reputation and a national following with his vivid images of blues music entertainers and juke joint scenes. His paintings hang in private collections and museums across America. One of his paintings hung in the White House in Washington, DC and was featured on a US Postage Stamp. He was the first visual artist to be commissioned by the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame and Hunt was also the official artist of the Year of the Blues...declared by Congress in 2003.
He has 26 paintings in Blues & Legends Hall of Fame Museum, and his work has also been featured in several traveling exhibits for the Museum. Part of the proceeds from the sale of these card will go toward helping with the planned relocation of the Museum.
